Since 1997, After being schooled in a benchwork joinery course, Todd has had a career building and designing furniture and kitchens in the Cowichan Valley, located on Vancouver Island.

In 1998, Todd opened a custom furniture making shop in Duncan. He ran the shop for 10 years creating sleigh beds, dining room tables, entertainment units and a few kitchens. The company closed the business in 2008, due to a recession in the economy.

Todd soon was hired to work at Live Edge Design in Duncan, a leading company in live edge furniture. He has worked there for over a decade creating mostly live edge dining and conference tables. 

 

Todd became interested in using the offcuts from his job at Live Edge Design. Since 2015, he has been creating artistic furniture, wood sculptures and wood art and selling it mostly locally, with a few orders scattered across the rest of Canada and the US.
